Sorry guys for the very delayed blog post! We’ve been busy taking Xavi on holiday to Dubai and ever since he came along I’m a firm believer in no social media updates and minimum phone use when away to really cherish and enjoy the precious time away from reality. So what better for my first blog post after a holiday telling you all about Xavis adventures abroad so far.. starting with his first one to St Lucia! Yes he is very spoilt but despite being a terror at times he totally deserves it for being so god damn cute!
So ever since Xavi turned 1 he has become a bigger pain in the butt than usual. And I’ve been an extra softie since his hospital visits but now he’s better the only thing keeping him waking up and invading my bed is 1. Habit, 2. Clingyness 3. Those damn molars!! Here’s how its currently going down after 7pm…
So its the big jump from boob or the powdered stuff to the cow stuff. And I’m assuming that if you’re not still going strong with the boob you’ve moved your babas onto proper milk once they’ve turned 1.. but is it absolutely necessary? Especially if since the day you started giving it your baby has been constantly sick, had random rashes come and go from his face and generally been a pain in the ass! And other than Xavi officially becoming a toddler rather than an infant and having yet another room load of toys from his bday presents the only thing i changed was take him to be massacred by a nurse with 4 needles and give him milk from an animal!
So I made this bad boy for Xavi last week and he LOVED it as well as hubby & I happily finishing his leftovers!
And I am big on quick and easy recipes especially now I’ve realised after slaving away for hours sometimes your kid will choose to just throw all of it on the floor then laugh! So this will be one of many recipes I’ll share with you and they will all be minimum effort. Recipe below:
So we’ve had a tough time with Xavi the past couple weeks.. In and out of hospital on two separate occasions following severe asthma attacks. We had no idea he suffered from this at first but ever since those god damn 1 year jabs Xavi got a cold, which then turned into a nasty cough he hasn’t been able to shake off for over 6 weeks now.
‘Sleeping through the night’ – a phrase that has haunted me since Xavi was 4 months old and according to Google was fully capable of sleeping through the night by then with no milk, no cuddles, no rocking, nada! Well Xavi is now 13 months old and i can probably count on two hands the times he has slept through the night… and this isn’t that magic 7pm-7pm sleeping through.. no no no this is Xavi’s version… 7.30pm-5.30am at best!
So this is the little ball of cuteness that inspired me to start this blog.. my Xavi! Told you he’s cute right? Other fun facts about Xavi:
